El “Fin del Mundo”, tema tan de moda en nuestros días, quizás, y probablemente debido a la cercanía de lo que se interpreta como el día final de acuerdo a nuestros antepasados, los mayas. Todos conocemos o hemos oído algo sobre tal profecía apocalíptica que indicaría el término de nuestro mundo exactamente el día 23 de diciembre del 2012. Generalmente se ha interpretado como el fin de los tiempos y de la humanidad, basándose en la credibilidad de las profecías mayas. Si bien la mayoría de las profecías mayas se han cumplido, debemos comprender el significado de las mismas y adecuarnos a la Cultura en particular. Los Mayas por su parte - y definido en palabras simples -, poseían una cosmovisión distinta a la nuestra, donde el mundo era parte de un gran proceso formado por ciclos, donde cada uno de ellos se encontraba delimitado por una cierta cantidad de años. Llegado este momento ocurría un cambio importante en el orden del mundo que daba origen a un siguiente ciclo. Por lo tanto y basándonos en sus creencias, el 2012 es el término del último de los ciclos registrados en la evidencia arqueológica recuperada. De este modo, el 2012 no sería el “Fin de Mundo”, sino más bien una señal de cambio o cambios próximos, pero nada probablemente que el mundo no haya experimentado con anterioridad. Sumado a esto, estamos siendo testigos de importantes y seguidos sucesos, los cuales a mi parecer si son preocupantes y que si indican que cosas extrañas están ocurriendo en nuestro entorno. Entre estos podemos mencionar algunos como el fuerte Terremoto ocurrido en Chile grado 8.8 (que trajo consigo Tsunami y Maremoto), el cual está catalogado entre los 5 más fuertes a nivel mundial y que hizo cambiar el territorio chileno en cuanto a dimensiones, alturas y que inclusive hizo desaparecer islas completas, el Terremoto en Haití grado 7.0, el Terremoto en México 7.2, en Argentina 6.3, Puerto Rico, Canadá, Japón, Indonesia, República Dominicana, Taiwán, Grecia, Guatemala, entre otros, sumado a esto han ocurrido diferentes acontecimientos naturales como inundaciones en Brasil, en el Cuzco, Perú, las lluvias intermitentes en Portugal, diversas erupciones, tormentas, y desastres naturales no vistos en centenares de años, hasta extraños casos en Brasil y Nigeria de niños nacidos blancos, rubios y de ojos azules, pero para nuestra sorpresa hijos de padres negros, cuya explicación científica no se ha dado aún, más allá de interpretarse como una mutación genética. Casos como estos existen por montones, pero debido a la poca difusión no se generan grandes críticas al respecto. Personalmente me llama la atención la gran cantidad de continuos episodios como los mencionados, no sé si tendrá relación o no al fin del mundo o de un ciclo o sólo serán coincidencias, pero si denotan cambios importantes que están afectando cada vez con mayor frecuencia nuestras vidas, siendo ya no un tema ajeno.

The Mayans on their part - and defined in simple words - had a worldview different from ours, where the world was part of a larger process consisting of cycles, where each of them was defined by a number of years. Therefore, and based on their beliefs, the 2012 is the end of the last cycle recorded in the archaeological evidence recovered. Thus, 2012 would be the "End of the World", but rather a sign of change or changes coming, but probably nothing that the world has not experienced before. Added to this, we are witnessing important events followed, which in my opinion if they are disturbing and indicate that if strange things are happening in our environment. Among these we mention some as a strong earthquake occurred in Chile grade 8.8 (which brought Tsunami and Tsunami), which ranks among the 5 most powerful in the world and that changed the Chilean territory in terms of size, height and even wiped out entire islands, the 7.0 degree earthquake in Haiti, the Mexico Earthquake 7.2, Argentina 6.3, Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, Taiwan, Greece, Guatemala, among others, in addition to that there have been different natural events such as floods in Brazil, in Cuzco, Peru, Portugal intermittent rains, several eruptions, storms and natural disasters not seen in hundreds of years, even strangers in Brazil and Nigeria cases of children born white, blond and eyes blue, but to our surprise the children of black parents, whose scientific explanation has not been given yet, beyond interpreted as a genetic mutation. Such cases exist in droves, but due to poor diffusion can not generate large criticism. Personally I am struck by the large number of continuous episodes such as these, do not know whether or not the relationship will end the world or of a cycle or just be coincidence, but if denote significant changes that are increasingly affecting our lives more often being and not a foreign issue.
